Position Summary:

Field Organizers will be primarily responsible for nuts & bolts organizing, recruitment of Rise Supporters and Volunteers, and community (1:1) engagement. Candidates should be able to offer ingenuity, creativity, nimbleness, and enthusiasm, with the desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, growing organizing program.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following core competencies: committed problem-solving, deep thinking, and fearless creation, inquisitive learning, thoughtful communication, mindful collaboration, personal accountability, teamwork, and a commitment to actively prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Use creative online and offline tactics to recruit attendees to our organizing events, and connect with youth in the community to make a pledge to vote.
• Achieve personal pledge to vote goals.
• Recruit volunteers to assist in meeting expected state goals. 
• Build partnerships with student organizations on campus through events and tabling with direction from LCOs.
• Work directly with the assigned team leads to obtain and achieve organizing goals.
• Actively participate in the creation and uplifting of content on all Rise social media platforms.
