Job Description

The incumbent will serve as part of the Transportation unit within the Parking and Transportation Services (PaTS) department. This position will help support transportation services for chartered transportation requests and special events requiring the use of a commercial motor vehicle.

Perform vehicle safety inspections, document and report vehicle defects and needed repairs or maintenance, fuel and clean vehicles, assist passengers with luggage and equipment, transport passengers safely and timely as directed, complete and submit assignment paperwork, interact with technology programs associated with dispatch and service management, and other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director for Transportation or their designee.

The incumbent must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) and Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card throughout their employment with the University UNC Charlotte
