Job Description
The Retirement Plan Specialist will represent Mutual of America in a sales and
marketing capacity to clients and prospects in an assigned territory with an emphasis
on soliciting new group takeover plans and cross-selling other products.
• Setting qualified appointments with plan sponsors of 401k and 403b Plans
through multiple strategies, cold calling, networking, and referral
• Work within a geographic territory to cultivate new prospects, cross-sell
solutions, reach and exceed goals and close sales.
• Attend client review meetings with Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) for
the top five to ten clients in the Retirement Plan Specialists territory to position
the Retirement Plan Specialist to ask clients for introductions and to be a
reference for sales opportunities
