Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse with a passion for helping children and adolescents navigate mental health and substance use challenges? At Monarch NC, we provide trauma-informed, person-centered care to individuals of all ages—and we’re looking for a dedicated LPN to join our Behavioral Health Crisis Team in Charlotte.
What You’ll Do
As a Pediatric Behavioral Health LPN, you will:
- Provide direct nursing care to children and adolescents in crisis
- Administer psychiatric medications and monitor responses
- Conduct nursing assessments and support treatment planning
- Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies with calm, compassionate expertise
- Coordinate care and referrals for emergency medical treatment when needed
- Follow detoxification protocols and assist with crisis and aftercare planning
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
- Active LPN license in North Carolina
- 1+ year of experience in a crisis management setting
- 1+ year of experience working with children, youth, or adolescents in a behavioral health crisis setting
- Working knowledge of psychiatric medications and trauma-informed care
