Lockheed Martin Supply Chain (LMSC) Enterprise Operations is seeking a Summer 2025 Supply Chain Operations Intern to join our creative team of professionals, supporting Central Procurement, Space.

In this role, you will:

  • Support critical supply chain initiatives that optimize the value to Lockheed Martin's supply chain operations enterprise-wide.

  • Support and gain exposure into the team's activities related to emerging supply chain issues, supplier risk management, risk assessments, conflict minerals, rare earth elements, and foreign source dependencies.

  • Participate in supply chain management challenges and activities.

  • Gain a global LM perspective while working with our various sites to understand their supply chain requirements, business priorities and culture.

This is a fully remote role and does not require being physically located at a specific Lockheed Martin facility. The candidate must be able to commit to working 40 hours per week during the summer internship term.

The intern hired for this position should expect to learn all facets of Supply Chain, and will leave with a large network, invaluable skills, and significant industry knowledge.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field, with at least one semester remaining after the internship

• Applicant should have a strong desire to become a Supply Chain professional, with proficiency in MS Office, data analysis, and reporting tools.

• U.S. citizenship is required due to system access.

• Pursuing bachelor's degree with a graduation date between 08/2026 through 07/2027.

• Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and data

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information in a clear and concise manner

• Proven ability to effectively prioritize and manage a large number of tasks and projects, while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail is a must

• Strong analytical, organizational and communication, skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and tableau.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $48,776 - $56,056. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
