Job Summary:

As a Governance Risk Compliance Analyst, you assist the organization by ensuring the organization is effectively designing, developing, implementing, and enforcing security compliance controls and solutions. You will engage with stakeholders across the enterprise on all aspects of security and governance, management of policies, implementation, and monitoring of controls, and management of remediation activities based on risk. You will conduct audits and assist with external audits. The position will work closely with Information Technology, Security and Cloud Operations, and Software and Hardware Development teams, along with the business to ensure there is a consistent and common approach to implementation of security and compliance management activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include policy and governance, audit and compliance, security operations, and risk management. Career-development professional within the field. Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in discipline. Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.

Education:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably experience in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or equivalent- 2+ years of Governance Risk Compliance experience- 2+ years hands-on experience with IT data management and data classification- Planning, organization, communication, presentation, multitasking, prioritization, and business analysis skills- Knowledge and understanding of IT regulatory control frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, etc.)- Possess working knowledge of information security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC, etc.)- Experience working with outsourced organizations and third-party vendors preferred- Advanced written and verbal communication skills- Strong interpersonal skills- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and document complex business process data flow.

Travel Requirements: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
