Job Description
- Provide primary academic advising and manage care network for students in the BS in Professional Studies program and model best practices for adult online learners.
- Supervise program and student support specialists serving Charlotte Online and noncredit learners.
- Lead institution-wide coordination of proactive student success strategies—strengthening early-alert processes, aligning care plans, supporting retention and persistence initiatives, and guiding outreach to at-risk, disengaged, or “eligible but not enrolled” students in partnership with existing departments.
- Collaborate with the Office of Undergraduate Education, University College, Enrollment Management, Student Assistance and Support Services, and academic departments to enhance online student pathways, onboarding, and progression.
- Conduct data-informed segmentation and targeted communication strategies to address the unique needs of online and post-traditional learners.
- Offer occasional evening advising during peak periods to support working adult learners.
