This role is designed to support marketing efforts managed by Enrollment Programs & Communications. The Social Media Student Coordinator(s) are responsible for photographing, filming and designing content for two offices of Enrollment Management’s social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, as well as for digital advertisements. The SMSC(s) will assist with the coordination of the Social Media Ambassadors Program and serve as a peer supervisor for the student ambassadors associated with the program. The SMSC(s) may also assist with graphic design for digital and print marketing materials as well as assume other responsibilities as required by Enrollment Programs & Communications.

Primary Job Duties

• Assist the Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications with the management of the Social Media Ambassadors, including coordinating group activities and planning aspects of monthly meetings (e.g. training, team building activities, etc.)
• Serve as a peer supervisor to approximately six Social Media Ambassadors (student leaders), including monitoring program requirements, providing support for content creation (e.g., photoshoots and filming) and monthly one-on-ones with each supervisee
• Assist with photography and videography, including serving as a photographer/videographer, setting up shoots, developing storyboards, and editing content
• Work with the Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications to generate, edit, publish and share engaging content weekly on social media accounts
• Engage with social media followers on social media accounts
• Assist with the content development for paid social media advertising
• Use Adobe Creative Suite products, such as Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro, to develop, edit and finalize content
• Utilize Enrollment Programs & Communications’ digital asset management system for photo management and usage
