Operations and Process Engineering Co-Op - Spring 2025

The Role:

Our site in Bedford is seeking a/an Operations and Process Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. This role will aid the process engineer in driving process improvements, maintaining SOPs and training, and supporting the day to day troubleshooting and work on the line. Typical improvement efforts will improve quality, drive down cost and/or increase output.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop plan for updating SOPs and implementing training for all operators

• Data mining and analysis in Minitab

• Make conclusions recommendations based on data analysis

• Perform yield analysis

• Participate in Gemba walks and look for lean and safety improvements

• Perform membrane characterization testing

What We Seek:

• Data-driven and hands-on approach

• Proficient in Excel.

• Ability to complete tasks in timely manner

• Working towards a degree in chemical, mechanical, industrial or similar engineering

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Knowledge of Minitab or willingness to learn

• Curiosity, asking questions, and providing your input to the team

• Ability to drive tasks independently and work in a team environment

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

• Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or other engineering degree
