Job Description

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC air side systems including air supply, return, and exhaust equipment including fans, blowers, dampers, louvres, motors and variable frequency drives.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair refrigerant a/c systems.
  • Identify problems with HVAC systems using computerized Building automation systems.
  • Install and repair air ducting and hydronic heating components.
  • Diagnose and repair pneumatic, and digital control components such as sensors, thermostats and actuators for dampers and control valves.
  • Diagnose, repair or replace electrical motors, starters , and variable frequency drives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (reading, writing, interpretation and comprehension) required.
  • Ability to use computer or tablet for work order management and email.
