You will contribute to competitive analysis, customer insights, product collateral, and launches across a wide range of solutions such as compressed air and gas treatment equipment, nitrogen generators, filters, dryers, condensate management systems, breathing air purification systems, and more.
This internship is ideal for someone passionate about industrial technology, customer value creation, and marketing strategy within a global, innovation‑driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Market Research
- Assist with market trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer insights across compressed air and gas treatment markets—including filtration, drying, gas generation, and condensate management systems
- Support research on industries such as railway, textile, food & beverage, and general industrial sectors.
- Analyze product features and performance across nano and Trident portfolios to articulate value propositions.
Marketing Content & Collateral
- Develop and maintain product presentations and web content aligned with brand proposition.
- Draft application notes and product benefit summaries based on technologies such as desiccant/refrigerated dryers, nitrogen/oxygen generators, precision filters, and condensate management solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to update product information and ensure messaging consistency.
Product Launch Support
- Assist the Product Manager in preparing launch packages—product descriptions, positioning, FAQs, promotional materials.
- Coordinate with Sales & Marketing Communications for rollouts of upcoming nano or Trident product updates or releases.
Data, Insights & Analytics
- Support analysis of product performance, customer feedback, and sales data.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for the Product Manager to guide portfolio decisions.
Customer & Sales Support
- Help generate technical comparisons, selection guides, and training materials for internal teams.
- Participate in customer interviews or surveys when appropriate to capture Voice of Customer insights.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical & Analytical
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize technical product information.
- Interest in industrial systems such as compressed air, gas treatment, and process cooling solutions (e.g., filtration, dryers, nitrogen/oxygen generation, etc.) as used across nano and Trident portfolios.
Communication & Marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical features into clear customer‑focused benefits, embarking in a application driven journey.
Collaboration & Behavior
The intern is expected to demonstrate behaviors that reflect our culture and way of working:
- Interaction: Engage openly and constructively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Commitment: Take responsibility for tasks and deliver high‑quality work.
- Innovation: Be curious, bring new ideas, and challenge existing assumptions.
- Ethics & Integrity: Follow Atlas Copco Group values and uphold ethical behavior.

- Sustainability Mindset: Support our mission to deliver efficient, reliable technologies for a more sustainable future.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interest in industrial technologies, engineering, or product marketing.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a global organization.
Recommended Academic Background
➡️ Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering — these provide the strongest foundation for understanding technologies used by both nano and Trident, including compressed air dryers, filtration systems, nitrogen/oxygen generators, and condensate management solutions. Despite that fact, other disciplines of the Engineering are also welcomed.
What You Will Gain
- Hands‑on experience in product marketing within a global industrial brand.
- Exposure to advanced compressed air & gas technologies and real‑world customer applications.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Communications, and Product Management.
- Understanding of strategic product positioning in a technology‑driven market.
- A strong foundation for future roles in Product Management or Technical Marketing.
Internship Duration Expectation
- We are specifically looking for an intern who is available to work with us throughout the year, not just during summer months. This includes part‑time availability during academic semesters and potentially increased hours during breaks. This ongoing involvement will allow the intern to gain deeper familiarity with our nano and Trident product portfolios, contribute meaningfully to long‑term initiatives, and integrate fully with our Product Management and Marketing teams.
