Job Description
Seeking a FWS student, any major, any year in school. Fall 2026 with the possibility of Spring 2027 as well.
Work hours and days are very flexible but MUST be available to work on most Fridays between 12:00-2:30 pm for a class that is held in the EPIC Building. And if schedule allows for it, attend or support certain student-employer events as applicable.
Job Duties include:
- various levels of support for a class that the Director coordinates. Such as monitoring students in/out of the classroom, using Canvas for the class and helping out with preparing for and setting up for in-person, on campus mock interview activity.
- ideal candidate will be able to assist with basic website updates, just adding content as needed (no coding nor programming), create exciting flyers as needed for guest speakers/events using Canva or other software tools and post student events to Niner Engage.
- Assist with special events, such as networking and outreach for students and employers throughout the semester.
- Must have good communication skills (verbal and written), demonstrate mature behaviors and be very reliable.
I can offer you a flexible schedule and you can work remotely with the exception when we hold a special event and most Fridays when class is being held in EPIC. (Note you do NOT need to sit in the classroom, you just will sit outside to monitor the students).
- Other duties as student shows interest in as the College of Engineering has lot of fun interactive activities going on.
