Job Description

The University of North Carolina Charlotte Facilities Management department is seeking an outgoing motivated person to join our staff as a Building Environmental Services Supervisor (BES).
Duties Include:
1. Provide supervision for a multiple cleaning teams in performance of duties in academic, administrative and athletic facilities.
2. Assign and schedule work; establish individual workloads and assign personnel to specific work areas.
3. Train, counsel and evaluate performance of employees.
4. Prepare personnel action memorandums; interview and recommend personnel for filling vacant positions.
5. Approve leave and submit time cards in the Kronos timekeeping system and absentee lists to supervisor.
6. Maintain equipment inventory and repair records; compile maintenance checklist and report needs to the supervisor.
7. Perform daily inspections and correct deficiencies.
8. Test and make recommendations on supply and equipment purchases.
9. Work closely with leadership on hiring applicants in BES 003 pool. UNC Charlotte
