Full-Time | In-Office Position
Latham-Walters Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated Engineering Associate to join our growing land development team. We specialize in residential and commercial site development projects and are looking for a driven professional who wants to grow into full project management responsibility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer who is ready to gain hands-on experience across all phases of site development — from initial layout through construction plan approval — while working closely with clients and governing agencies.
Position Overview
The Engineering Associate will assist with and eventually manage projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include:

Site layout and design

Stormwater management design
-
Roadway design
-
Erosion control design
-
Grading design
-
Construction plan preparation
-
Coordination with local governing agencies

Direct communication with clients
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required)

1–5 years of relevant land development experience (preferred)

EIT certification (preferred)

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)

Experience with HydroCAD, EPANET, HEC-RAS, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an in-office environment

Negotiable salary range: $60,000 – $80,000, based on experience
