Job Description
- The position requires a self-motivated and proactive individual capable of identifying inefficiencies and opportunities and acting on them.
- Responsible for account management of grant funds to include reconciliations, procurement, receiving, personnel, etc.
- Maintain accurate fund records and prepare reports to summarize all expenditures/funds available to pay for graduate teaching assistant appointments, lab/research supplies, travel, equipment purchases.
- Balance internal accounting records against Banner.
- Analyzing account codes for accuracy.
- Interpret and recommend financial/personnel and/or budget policies for department chair.
- Composing correspondence that is sent out to students, faculty, staff, and external contacts.
- Reports to the department chair and provides support to the department administration, faculty and students.
- Assumes other duties as needed and assigned.
