Parti-Time Standardized Patient

Part-Time Standardized Patients portray patients during clinical encounters that help optometry candidates complete their board examinations. In this on-site role, participants follow assigned case scenarios, respond consistently to questions, and allow candidates to perform noninvasive clinical skills involving the eyes.

Ideal applicants are dependable, comfortable interacting with healthcare professionals, able to use a tablet independently, and have reliable transportation. Applicants must be available at least two weekdays per week, with the greatest need on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Typical shifts are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay is $17 per hour.
