Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented student worker to join our College print lab team. In this role, you will balance friendly customer service with hands-on technical support, ensuring our specialty printing operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Front Desk Support

Welcome Visitors: Serve as the first point of contact, greeting students, staff, and visitors in a warm and professional manner.

Answer Inquiries: Respond to phone calls and walk-in questions promptly; provide accurate info regarding print services, schedules, and procedures.

Support Clients: Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints with patience and professionalism.
Technical & Print Operations

Print Maintenance: Work alongside IT staff to support specialty printing needs. Load ink, media, and toner into plotters and printers.

Queue Management: Monitor the print queue and release jobs for production.

Troubleshooting: Perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions on digital print equipment and workflow systems.

Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and resolve routine production issues before escalating them to leadership.

Lab Maintenance: Maintain a safe, secure, and organized production environment, monitor inventory levels, and log operational activities or incidents for management review.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs (for moving paper rolls, boxes, and toner).
