About The Creative Cornerstone
The Creative Cornerstone is a Charlotte-based nonprofit that empowers youth ages 13–18 from low-income communities through hands-on media arts education. We offer programs in film, photography, music production, and digital storytelling, helping students build creative skills, confidence, and career readiness. Through partnerships with schools, recreation centers, and industry professionals, we provide high-quality instruction, mentorship, and real project experience. Our mission is to ensure equitable access to the arts and to inspire the next generation of storytellers to discover their voice and shape their future.

The Project
The Social Content Manager will create and manage digital content during our Spring Workshops, capturing photos, short videos, and key moments for use on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Responsibilities include planning content, posting real-time updates, writing captions, and coordinating with staff and the BTS videographer to ensure consistent branding. The role supports our overall marketing efforts by showcasing workshop activities and helping increase community engagement.

Learning Experience
The student will gain practical experience in digital marketing by managing real-time social media content for our Spring Workshops. They will develop skills in content creation, photography, short-form video editing, caption writing, and social media strategy. Working closely with our team, they will learn how to represent a nonprofit organization online, engage audiences, and create cohesive branding across platforms. This hands-on experience will strengthen their portfolio and prepare them for future roles in social media management, marketing, and communications.
