PT Technical Assistant for art labs/classrooms/buildings in the Department of Art & Art History, College of Arts + Architecture. This is a temporary appointment; up to 20 hrs per week. Reports to the Art Facilities Manager and Department Chair. The Technical Assistant will assist with on-going projects that support faculty, staff, and students with an emphasis on general facilities. Work is based in the Rowe Arts building. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, fabrication, maintenance, installation, and repair. Safety is a top priority. Applicant with knowledge of hand tools and power tools is preferred. Must be able to lift or manipulate 25-35 lbs. using equipment. Knowledge of carpentry and art installations skills a plus.
