Hardware Engineering Fellow - July 2026 Start

The Hardware Engineering Fellow plays a vital role in the JAARS Research and Development (R&D) and Engineering department. This individual is part of our Hardware Engineering team, creating solutions and products to enable missionaries to reach the unreached at the Last Mile of Missions. Our solutions and products solve the unique transportation and infrastructure challenges encountered in remote, hard-to-reach areas.Position Responsibilities

• Supports and contributes to the work of fellow team members
• Develops solutions that improve and make possible aviation, maritime, and land transportation in remote locations 
• Develops alternative energy solutions to make living and working in remote areas possible
• Analyzes and documents designs
• Prototypes and tests designs

• Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience with CADD and design tools
