Job Description

SUMMARY

Support the ongoing development of new features, testing, documentation, and service of existing functionality for Reachback Engineer Data integration (REDi) and other applications critical to the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Reachback Operations Center (UROC) mission. Provide analysis and problem resolution of communications systems, mechanisms, and architectures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create new site, lists and document libraries needed for storing data within the SharePoint Architecture for managing new project data and attachments.

  • Provide technical assistance with the creation of export tools needed for data grids and reports including charts and graphs.

  • Use data from project databases to create project summaries, construction status reports, and other project tracking tools.

  • Implement to multiple MS SharePoint environments on UNCLASSIFIED domains.

  • Provide technical assistance with the creation of export tools needed for data grids and reports including charts and graphs.

  • Use data from project databases to create project summaries, status reports, and other project tracking tools.

  • Process, prepare, staff, file, incoming and outgoing correspondence (ADMIN).

  • Receive visitors and direct to the appropriate Subject Matter Expert (SME) for resolution (ADMIN).

  • Prepare a monthly report that summarizes each of the task associated with all performance objectives and provide to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates' degree in an applicable discipline. In lieu of degree, relevant work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

  • Zero (0) to two (2) years of professional engineering and scientific experience in design, development, documentation and operation of computer systems, software and databases employing specialized database development tools for application to Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) systems.

  • Must be able to pass successfully a NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) background check.

  • Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a project's technical field.

  • Expertise in applying current and evolving engineering technologies.

  • Ability to execute complex, multi-faceted projects within established financial and time constraints.

  • Working knowledge of all phases of computer system design and computer software acquisition management.

Part-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking; occasional walking or standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 30 pounds. Moderate to extended periods of office work with heavy periods of computer usage. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

  • Pay: $31.00 per hour.
