GJK Remodeling is a locally owned, award-winning residential remodeling company passionate about transforming homes and improving lives through thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship. We’re looking for a motivated marketing student who wants hands-on experience in content creation, branding, and digital marketing in the home improvement industry.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing & Social Media Intern to help grow our online presence. This role is ideal for someone working toward a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field who enjoys storytelling through photos, videos, and digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Visit active and completed job sites to capture photos and videos of projects in progress and finished spaces
Edit and organize content for use across social media platforms
Create and schedule regular posts on LinkedIn and Google My Business
Manage and update our Houzz profile, including adding new project photos and descriptions
Collaborate with the team to develop ideas for engaging content that reflects our brand and craftsmanship
Assist in monitoring engagement metrics and responding to social media interactions
Support website updates or blog content as needed
Preferred Skills (not required)
Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and WordPress
Experience with photo/video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.)
Strong writing and communication skills
Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently
