Job Description
Work with our amazing team at the Career Center! Learn all about teamwork and Career Services as you continue to learn as a UNC Charlotte student! Customer Service Specialists have the responsibility of welcoming visitors to the Career commons and promoting services of the Center through engaging activities such as assisting with job fairs, educating visitors, conducting small office tours, setting up employer tables within high traffic areas around campus, and working on specific projects associated with career-related activities. Learn and use relevant technology, such as Microsoft Office products, Canva, and the administrative side of Hire-A-Niner. Customer Service Professionals work 10-15 hours per week with flexible work hours M-F from 8-5.
You will be answering phones, answering questions and greeting students and staff. Management of group assignment list, Clothing closet management and donation retrieval, light data entry, as well as career employer software and research and developmental events, and exciting projects centered around our career events. We are aa very busy office that tries to fill a need when we see it and treat our students just like everyone else who works here! We offer professional development throughout the year and require our students to complete 2 per semester. Come join our team! Opportunity for Summer employment as well.
