Job Description

Provides radiographic diagnostic services by operating the C-arm and other equipment/devices as necessary. Evaluates scouts and spot imaging for technical quality and positioning. Troubleshoots and problem solves certain factors before calling service. Produces quality imaging to aid doctor in pain procedures and conforms to department standards. Maintains sound employee radiation safe practices that are in compliance with ALARA and the standards set by the State of Massachusetts. Wear proper lead shielding at all times for self-protection. Proficient in C-ARM positioning and maneuverability  Maintains proper sterile and aseptic technique for patients and required sterile fields. Provided support within the confines of the procedure room Maintains or reports on established supply shelf levels for the department. Stocks rooms and rotate stock on shelves with replacements when supplies arrive Checks the supplies in the department on a daily basis and communicates low stock levels to appropriate people Demonstrates knowledge and skills required to perform processes involved in the delivery of age-appropriate care. Provides care appropriate to the patient population served
