The primary function of an Asset Manager is to provide ownership and oversight management on active loans within the company portfolio. The Asset Manager works closely with our borrower partners to stay current on development activity at the project level for each loan under management. This oversight is primarily completed by facilitating reoccurring update calls with the borrower team, ensuring all reporting requirements of the borrower are met, and reviewing monthly project funding requests for approval of advances. In addition, regular site visits to active projects will be conducted to visually inspect progress in the field and compare that activity against prior updates received by borrowing partners. The Asset Manager must be able to synthesize all information obtained on a particular project to continually update/maintain internal financial models and projections of loan performance activity.
