Monarch NC—a trusted provider of high‑quality, trauma‑informed care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, and substance use disorders—is seeking a dedicated Team Leader for our Intensive In‑Home Treatment team in Lexington, North Carolina.
What You’ll Do
As the Team Leader, you will play a key role in helping children, adolescents, and families navigate psychological challenges and improve their daily functioning within their communities. You will also provide leadership, clinical guidance, and support to your team to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and delivering direct and indirect services to individuals and families.
- Conducting clinical interviews to assess presenting concerns, mental status, safety considerations, psychosocial history, and diagnostic needs using all five Axes of the current DSM.
- Providing individual and family therapy using person‑centered principles and best‑practice therapeutic models.
- Identifying and responding to crisis situations, ensuring appropriate interventions are provided.
- Collaborating with community partners and coordinating additional services as needed.
- Offering leadership, coaching, and support to Intensive In‑Home team members.

Successful candidates will bring strong clinical skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for supporting families in high‑need situations.
Required qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a Human Services–related field.
- At least one year of documented experience working with children or adolescents with a mental health diagnosis or substance use disorder.
Licensure: Candidates actively pursuing one of the following North Carolina licenses may serve as Team Leader with the expectation of obtaining full licensure within 30 months of hire:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW‑A/LCSW)
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC‑A/LCMHC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT‑A/LMFT)
