Job Description
Here's a ready-to-paste version, written to be specific enough to satisfy the Career Center's requirements while still selling the role:
Community Brand Ambassador — Fahrenheit Restaurants (Charlotte)
Fahrenheit is seeking a Community Brand Ambassador to join our Marketing & Business Development team for a structured, resume-building internship in sales, marketing, and hospitality business development. This is not a restaurant job — it's a hands-on role where you'll represent our brand throughout the Charlotte community, build real business relationships, and directly drive measurable growth for a premier hospitality company.
What You'll Do Ambassadors visit local businesses, corporate offices, hotels, and apartment communities to build relationships with decision-makers (HR teams, executive assistants, concierge desks, office managers) and promote Fahrenheit's dining, catering, gift card, and private event offerings. Daily work includes outbound calling, in-person visits, CRM pipeline management, and networking at community events, working toward weekly goals for calls, visits, and qualified leads generated.
Hours & Schedule No more than 20 hours per week during the academic year, scheduled around your class load and set collaboratively with your supervisor. Expanded hours may be available during breaks and summer term.
Learning Objectives This internship is structured to build skills tied to your course of study, including: developing and executing outreach campaigns; applying brand positioning and messaging in live business conversations; managing a sales pipeline using CRM tools; practicing consultative selling and cold outreach; and gaining direct experience in corporate and private-event sales.
Qualifications Currently enrolled undergraduate or early-career professional in marketing, business administration, hospitality management, communications, public relations, advertising, event management, entrepreneurship, or a related field. Outgoing and confident communicator, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a flexible schedule. Reliable transportation required for in-market visits.
Supervision & Support Ambassadors report directly to the Marketing & Business Development team, with structured onboarding, weekly one-on-one check-ins, ongoing coaching, and formal progress reviews at the mid-point and end of each term. You'll have access to CRM tools, outreach scripts, marketing collateral, and mentorship from Fahrenheit leadership.
Compensation Competitive hourly pay plus performance bonuses, private event commissions, corporate account incentives, gift card/referral bonuses, and employee dining discounts.
Want me to tailor this to Cleveland instead, or produce a shorter version if their character count is limited?
