STW: Campus and Community Communications Intern

The Campus and Community Communications intern plays a key role in helping the
University keep its community informed, engaged and proud to be Niners.
Key Responsibilities
● Contribute to the planning, writing and production of Niner Insider newsletters for
students and employees.
● Assist with content creation for Niner Insider Instagram, including copywriting,
visual concepts and basic photography.
● Pitch, research, interview and write stories, news briefs and profiles for the
University’s internal channels.
● Write and update content for Inside UNC Charlotte.
● Assist with communications related to the Division of Business Affairs, ensuring
clarity and accuracy.
● Help maintain editorial calendars, track content performance and contribute
creative ideas for improving engagement.
● Provide photography support for feature stories and campus events.
● Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus and Community
Communications team.
