How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Delta's Marketing team is seeking best-in-class talent for our 12-week summer internship starting mid-May or early June through August 2025, that may lead to full-time employment. Our interns are full members of our team, developing a deep understanding of our global company, directly supporting the efforts of our Marketing teams, and gaining exposure to other departments, partners, and experiences. This job posting is specifically for the position of Internal Operations - Learning and Development Intern within the Marketing department.
In this role, you will:

Help create and update training guides, e-learning modules and presentation slides for our 300+ marketing employees

Support the design and build of a curriculum for role-based training

Collaborate with subject matter experts and perform research to gather content and ensure accuracy
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
-
Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in a 4-year degree program in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Curriculum, Education, Training, or a related discipline. Knowledge of marketing skills is not required.

Must be enrolled in a 4-year degree program during the duration of the internship to participate

Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the 12-week internship program during the Summer of 2025.

Experience in deck writing or presentations, project coordination, and analytics communications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and pivot for unexpected deliverables or needs.

Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.

Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required.

Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.

Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Rising college seniors enrolled in a 4-year degree program in pursuit of a bachelor's degree with a graduation date of Fall 2025, or Spring 2026.

Experience with eLearning/LMS software (Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia) strongly preferred.

Knowledge of SharePoint site administration and OneDrive experience.

Ability to digest substantial amounts of data and information to explain what can be learned from the data and how it can support decision making decisions.

Ability to develop effective presentations that help explain a need, the analysis, and the findings and recommendations to leaders in an efficient and effective manner.

Ability to handle shifting priorities that come from the business needs.

High performer and interested in driving results
