Business Development Research Intern

    We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our business development team and help us identify potential licensing partners in the US and European pharma sector.

    The intern will conduct market research, analyze industry trends, generate leads, and contact leads by phone and/or email for products that Tanner Pharma Group has available for licensing.

    The internship is a hybrid position that allows for both in-office and remote work. The intern will be expected to work around 20 hours per week for a duration of 2 to 3 months, starting in April 2025.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

    • Identify and qualify potential licensing partners using various sources such as databases, websites, social media, and industry events. Find the right contact person and email address.
    • Support the creation of emails and responses.
    • Perform some market research and analysis on the US and European consumer sector, focusing on the segments and categories that are relevant for Tanner Pharma Group's products.
    • Create and maintain a pipeline of leads and prospects, and track their status and progress.
    • Support the business development team with reviewing presentations and proposals.
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Report on the results and outcomes of the licensing activities.

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS. EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

    • Current or recent graduate student in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field.
    • Strong interest and knowledge of the pharmaceutical and consumer sectors.
    • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Fluent in English.
