Job Description
Trinity Episcopal School is seeking a tech-savvy and creative individual to serve as our Social Media Support Specialist beginning January 2025. This part-time role reports to the Marketing & Communications Director and supports the school’s communications and marketing team with a focus on media content creation and event coverage. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for visual storytelling and is comfortable working in a dynamic school environment. The Social Media Support Specialist supports the work of the School by promoting the mission, values and policies of Trinity Episcopal School.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow engagement, increase followers, and enhance brand awareness across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule with high-quality, engaging content that highlights school life, community, and values.
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Capture and produce compelling photos, videos, stories, and live content that reflect the vibrancy and diversity of the school community.
- Coordinate with faculty, staff, and students to identify content opportunities across campus.
Community Engagement
- Monitor and manage interactions on all official social media accounts, responding to messages and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a sense of connection and dialogue with followers, including parents, alumni, and prospective families.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate content effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Trends & Innovation
- Stay up to date on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital engagement.
- Recommend new ideas and creative approaches to strengthen the school’s online presence.

Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of professional experience in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation
- Successful experience in working with children, preferably in a constructivist or progressive education environment
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience managing social media platforms for a brand, organization, or nonprofit.
- Strong photography and videography skills; proficiency in editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms).
Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills. - Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a school environment and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with independent school culture is a plus.
- Become involved in the mission and life of the school beyond the primary responsibilities outlined.
