The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

This is a hybrid opportunity. Zebra does not offer relocation or housing budget.

The intern is required to work in the San Jose, California office a minimum of 3 days a week.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities:

• Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills

• Increase technology knowledge and skills

• Develop team-based work proficiencies

• Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

• Work in our software system is defined through workflows

• Workflows consist of tasks and actions

• Workflows are executed on agents

• Tasks are templates that need to be constructed based on capabilities of the robot

• The project that the intern will work on is building out a system to build and visualize tasks

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have undergraduate degree obtained by May, 2025 and enrolled in a graduate program.

• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

• Must be available to work in the San Jose, California office a minimum of 3 days a week.

• Candidates must have solid experience using JavaScript (building F/E UI), Git, and Python.

• Classes in Data Structure and Algorithms should be completed.

• Candidates should have completed at least one intership in their past.

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with Robots

• Some experience with distributed systems.

• Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences

• Ability to collaborate as part of a team

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Experience presenting to team members in a formal environment.

Salary: USD 41.00 Hourly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
