The Opportunity Ulteig is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a Right of Way Intern based in our Denver, CO office to work this upcoming 2025 summer season. What You'll Do The Right of Way Intern is responsible for performing fundamental duties under the direction of others, including routine acquisition of land rights, permits, leases and other interests assigned by supervisor. Evaluates documents, plans, plats, and maps to obtain right of way details and ownership information. Assists in acquiring easements, options, and other forms of land rights in property. Attends landowner meetings with supervisor for acquisition/negotiation activities. Assists with negotiations with landowners, businesses, and governmental agencies for land rights. Prepare documents associated with land rights including but not limited to easements, options, permits, minor land descriptions, communication, records, databases, and project status reports. Creates and maintains accurate field notes, reports, and databases. Assist in preparing estimated property market values. Research projects from a variety of sources. Provides excellent client service. Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. What We Expect from You Must be enrolled in an accredited energy management program or an equivalent land and resources program. Knowledge of land principles and practices used in real and personal property transactions is preferred. Must have permanent authorization to work in the US.
