Job Description
Role Overview
The Brand & Growth Navigator supports founders and nonprofit partners in building their brand identity, growing their audience, and communicating their value clearly and consistently. This student is the creative and strategic marketing resource for ventures that do not yet have a dedicated marketing team.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop brand identity foundations including logo direction, color palette, tone of voice, and messaging guidelines for early-stage founders
- Build and execute social media content strategies across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok tailored to each founder’s target audience
- Write copy for websites, email campaigns, social posts, pitch one-pagers, and donor communications
- Design marketing collateral including flyers, digital graphics, event materials, and pitch presentation decks using Canva or Adobe Suite
- Conduct basic competitor and market positioning analysis to help founders differentiate their brand
- Support nonprofit partners with donor outreach campaigns, volunteer recruitment messaging, community newsletters, and impact storytelling
- Assist founders in setting up email marketing platforms and building initial contact lists
Skills Sought
- Strong writing and storytelling ability
- Experience managing or creating content for social media platforms
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- Understanding of basic marketing strategy and brand development principles
- Creative thinking balanced with strategic communication goals
