Job Description
Duties include:
- Performing routine maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment ensuring that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Using electrical test devices to troubleshoot and repair.
- Diagnosing mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches to precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
- Using knowledge and skill with Building Automation Systems (BAS) to complete tasks as needed.
- Looking up and ordering parts.
