UIP: Lead Student Ambassador

The Internship
The lead student ambassador will assist the Business Services marketing team with recruiting for the Niner Aux Guides student ambassador program, organizing exciting student events, and creating engaging social media content for channels like Instagram and YouTube.

Learning Experience
This position will give a student real-world digital marketing experience to complement and broaden their portfolio. They will get mentorship from multiple full-time professionals on the Business Services staff, including the marketing director, social media manager, and videographer.

Outcomes
Use a social media calendar to plan and schedule photo and video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Attend Business Services campus events to take photos and videos for social media stories.Help organize, run, and promote events for the Niner Aux Guides student ambassador program and/or to promote Business Services on campus. Participate in and assist with Barnes & Noble Charlotte sale photo shoots, including selecting merchandise, working with student models and researching product photography. Perform or learn basic photo and video editing and enhancement in Adobe Light Room and Adobe Premiere. Design simple graphics and animations using native editing tools in Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and Facebook and/or Adobe Creative Cloud. Communicate with student ambassadors and assign tasks via GroupMe, email and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Send a biweekly student ambassador newsletter via Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
