· Knowledge of and able to follow Head Start, childcare, and sanitation guidelines

· Plans and implements daily lesson plans that focus on the individual needs of the children

· Maintains individual child outcome results, and shares the data during home visits and Parent/Teacher Conferences

· Maintains good communication with parents and other staff members

· Implements developmentally appropriate practices

· Maintain confidential records as required by federal, state, and local mandates

· Collaborates with the Teachers Assistant in a manner that will promote a team approach

· Ensures parents are welcome to volunteer in the classroom

· Attend career development activities, such as trainings and workshops

· Other duties as assigned
