D&L Parts Company is looking for a Procurement Specialist / Buyer to join our Supply Chain team at our Corporate Headquarters in Charlotte, NC.

If you're a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, inventory management, business analytics, or operations, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all of them.

You'll work directly with our Supply Chain Director and learn how purchasing decisions impact inventory, suppliers, sales, profitability, and operations across a multi-location distribution company.

What You'll Get to Work On

• Purchasing products and working directly with suppliers.
• Analyzing inventory levels, sales trends, and purchasing needs.
• Supporting forecasting and inventory replenishment.
• Monitoring product availability, backorders, and inventory performance.
• Analyzing purchasing costs, supplier performance, margins, and inventory metrics.
• Assisting with supplier negotiations and cost-saving opportunities.
• Using Excel and ERP technology to support purchasing decisions.
• Maintaining product, pricing, and purchasing information.
• Working across Sales, Distribution, Marketing, IT, and Accounting.
• Participating in real-world supply chain projects and process improvements.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in candidates with education or experience related to:

• Supply Chain Management
• Business Administration
• Operations Management
• Finance or Economics
• Business Analytics
• Logistics
• Purchasing or Procurement
• Inventory Management

Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, internship, co-op, retail/wholesale, or supply chain experience is a plus.

You should also be comfortable working with numbers and data, have solid Excel skills, be organized, curious, and willing to learn.
