JOB TITLE:    Senior Software Engineer

LOCATION:    11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES:    Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Develop services, controls, and reusable patterns that enable the team to deliver value safely, quickly, and sustainably in the public cloud; Develop services, controls, and patterns for public cloud that enable security and privacy at scale; Define technical solutions to meet business needs through Agile process; Foster high-performance, collaborative technical work resulting in high-quality output; Gather and analyze data to aide in informed decision-making while providing detailed, realistic estimates; Interact skillfully with business stakeholders and third-party technical organizations; and Proactively automate infrastructure and services to enable a small team to deliver value to a global enterprise. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.     

REQUIREMENTS:    Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: 

•    Azure, Azure virtual machines, Azure AD, Azure Container Registry, Azure Application Insight, and SQL Azure; 
•    Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, Powershell, Docker, API Management, and Deployment manager;
•    Building and deploying applications to the Azure cloud using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform;
•    DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Fortify or Sonar;
•    Migrating applications to the cloud;
•    Working in an Agile environment; and
•    Modern programming languages, systems, and architectures.

RATE OF PAY:  $107,940 - $159,615 /  per year
