The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

This marketing Internship at Zebra will provide you with the foundation to explore and apply for Zebra's Marketing Development Program (MDP). The MDP is a two-year, full-time rotational program offering employees the opportunity to learn from experts throughout the marketing organization at our Lincolnshire, IL headquarters.

Responsibilities:

The Customer Experience Strategy Team is responsible to elevate the customer experience maturity of the organization. The work of this team includes the following:

  • Strengthening our customer-centric culture with messaging, training, opportunities, and recognition

  • Optimizing end-to-end customer experiences by driving cross-functional alignment around intended journeys co-developed with customer input

  • Developing comprehensive closed loop listening paths across all journey stages with connected data to drive insights

  • Prioritizing actions that drive customer growth by understanding the connection between customer experience and business results

    Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating / updating transactional and relationship surveys (NPS, CSAT, CES, etc.)

  • Analyzing survey and business data to identify insights, issues, and areas of opportunity

  • Reviewing feedback for open issues requiring service recovery

  • Mapping the customer journeys and internal business processes

  • Participating in projects to address customer experience inconsistencies or improvement opportunities

  • Tracking status on improvement efforts

  • Exploring customer experience innovations (generative AI, etc.)

    This is a hybrid internship location in Lincolnshire, IL. The expectations are at least 3 days of in-office attendance

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Marketing, Business/Economics, Communications, Design, Mathematics, or relevant curriculum

  • Must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025-December 2026

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Lincolnshire, IL (3 days in office, 2 remote days)

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Service design or user-centered design skills (journey mapping, survey design, etc.)

  • Familiarity with statistical methods / analytics / tools (e.g., PowerBi, Tableau, Excel)

  • Ability to review data and make observations

  • Propensity to apply learnings and think through processes - not just "fill in the blanks"

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)

  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences

  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team and work independently

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong time management skills

Salary: USD 22.00 - USD 24.00 Hourly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
