The Team and Role:
Join our dynamic and fast-paced legal team as a Legal Intern to support our team on a broad range of matters focusing on employment, privacy and compliance. This three-month internship offers an excellent opportunity for a second-year law student to gain hands-on experience learning not only about the in-house legal function but also how a global business operates.
Working alongside experienced attorneys, you will develop valuable legal research, drafting, and analytical skills while assisting the team in navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Research and Analysis:

Conduct in-depth legal research on employment law, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity law.

Policy Drafting and Review:

Assist in drafting and revising company policies, privacy notices, employee handbooks, and compliance manuals. .

Compliance Support:
-
Help assess compliance practices related to data security protocols and employee data handling.

Support for Advisory Work:
-
Collaborate with legal team members to prepare materials and guidance for HR, cybersecurity, and management teams.

Operational Legal Tasks:

Assist with litigation preparation, document management, proofreading, and legal filings, as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
-
2nd Year Law student enrolled in an accredited law school in the San Jose/Bay Area Metro

Strong interest in employment, privacy, and cybersecurity law.

Exceptional research, analytical, and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
-
Familiarity with legal research tools and proficiency with Google Suite.
Preferred:
-
Basic understanding of privacy and cybersecurity regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws.

Prior internship or experience in employment law, privacy, or cybersecurity is a plus.

Compensation: This position offers an hourly rate typically between $35.00 - $42.00 per hour, commensurate to the level of degree program in which an applicant is actively enrolled.
