The English Language Training Institute (ELTI), a unit of the Office of International Programs (OIP), is a fully accredited intensive English program with the mission of preparing English language learners to be successful members of the U.S. academic community. 

The ELTI seeks a communications/social media intern to assist the unit with developing and enhancing outreach to its constituents, which include potential students, current students, program alumni, parents, government sponsors, agents, and others. In addition, the ELTI seeks assistance in increasing its social media presence and overall branding/marketing awareness. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Developing a social media strategy
• Managing and updating existing social media platforms and researching new and innovative social media applications in order to raise brand awareness and increase student engagement
• Assisting in program website updates and maintenance
• Assisting the ELTI team with revising the existing communication plan
• Serve as lead photographer/videographer for a program events
• Create promotional materials, including fliers, brochures, presentations, reels, and videos
• Other duties as assigned
