The Department of Economics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor beginning August 16, 2027. The successful candidate will conduct research, teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and contribute to departmental service and governance. Beyond our undergraduate economics program, the department offers an M.S. in Economics and plays a central role in the Ph.D. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance, the Ph.D. in Public Policy, and the M.S. in Financial Engineering and Fintech.
