Job Description

Provides support to a Financial Advisor by providing the Financial Advisor and clients with account and security information, establishing new accounts, entering security order tickets after being approved by the Financial Advisor and, processing deliveries and/or payments.  Performs various administrative functions for the Financial Advisor(s) and Branch Management including, but not limited to, preparing forms and reports, correspondence and the preparation of Financial Advisor directed marketing campaigns.  Handles telephone calls and or responds to other inquiries and/or requests for research reports as well as researching account inquiries and/or problems.  Establishes and maintains files to meet the firm's regulatory requirements, creating and producing reports, databases, and establishing and maintaining filing and record keeping necessary to support efforts to service and grow client relationships.

Candidate will be trained and supported with the tools and resources to learn the financial planning and investment management process as well as sales and marketing skills to help grow client relationships, assets and revenue.  After sufficient experience and performance, successful candidate will ultimately transition to the role of a junior advisor, providing sound financial advice and counsel consistent with a client's goals and risk tolerance, and meet organizational revenue targets. 

Starting salary $50,000 + ($15,000 - $30,000 annual Bonus once candidate passes Series 7, Series 66 and insurance license exams).  Total potential starting salary,  $65,0000- $80,000.

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate Degree in Business or Accounting

Strong client service skills/Strong Attention to detail and accuracy skills/Effective organizational, multi tasking and prioritizing skills/Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills/Brokerage industry experience/Financial services industry experience/Basic Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills/Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment/Experience interacting directly with customers/Ability to provide administrative support, including responding to prospect/customer inquiries and requests for information.
