STW: VOLT Student Advanced Facilitator

VOLT Advanced Facilitators  facilitate team building programs for the Charlotte community and help guide adventure trips. They implement various aspects of Venture programs, including assisting VOLT Student Leads and professional staff with logistics, facilitation, and the supervision/ coaching of VOLT Apprentice Facilitators and program participants. 

Advanced Facilitators are responsible for the advanced technical aspects of high team challenge course programming including conducting rescues from the course and operating the zipline. 

Advanced Facilitators work within a peer-leadership team to support the physical and emotional safety of participants and co-leaders. They also (1) instruct experiential lessons in their area of focus, (2) facilitate conversations before, during, and after programs, and (3) give and receive feedback within their leadership team, with participants, and with supervisors.
