Job Description

The California state chapter of NWPC serves as a communication hub between all local California Caucuses and the National Organization, working to endorse women candidates at all levels of government who meet our Bottom Line Issues. Through our PAC we endorse women candidates. Through our Women’s Leadership Fund, we provide scholarships to future leaders. Through our corporation, we operate all required administration, communication, fundraisers, and other events for current and potential members. For more information visit nwpcca.org

NWPC CA is offering a remote, compensated Social Media and Digital Communications Internship position for Spring 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and schedule regular social media posts about NWPC-CA and issues/events important to it, using our branding.
  • Help strategize and implement marketing campaigns and follow ups.
  • Help produce and ghostwrite newsletters to the membership.
  • Produce clear, accurate, and engaging written materials, including reports and social media content.
  • Critically evaluate media and cross-reference information to ensure messaging integrity.
  • Assist with website updates and social media strategy.
  • Engage in collaborative problem-solving with board members and local caucus members.
