Monarch NC is seeking a dedicated Residential Program Lead to oversee our Residential Care team in Winston‑Salem, North Carolina. We provide high‑quality, trauma‑informed support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental illness, and substance use disorders.
About the Role
As a Residential Program Lead, you will provide overall management, supervision, and clinical oversight for assigned residential program(s). You will ensure high‑quality, person‑centered services that help individuals achieve their personal goals, enhance their quality of life, and participate more fully in their communities.
In this leadership role, you will:
- Serve as the Qualified Professional (QP) for assigned individuals.
- Provide guidance and support to residential staff.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments.
- Monitor individual progress and evaluate the effectiveness of Person‑Centered Plans (PCPs).
- Ensure regulatory compliance and the effective daily operation of the program.
- Collaborate with families, team members, and community partners.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet North Carolina Qualified Professional (QP) criteria per 10A NCAC 27G .0104, with one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree (non‑Human Services) + 4 years full‑time experience with the population served, OR
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree (Human Services) + 2 years full‑time experience with the population served, OR
- Master’s degree (Human Services) + 1 year full‑time experience with the population served.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong initiative and accountability.
- Knowledge of IDD services, regulatory requirements, and service definitions.
- Excellent communication skills for working with individuals, families, staff, supervisors, and external partners.
- Comfort with technology and willingness to use an electronic health record system for documentation and review.
