At the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation (https://www.uschamberfoundation.org/about/about-the-foundation) , you will obtain a hands-on, meaningful work experience designed to meet your academic and career goals. Our internships offer opportunities in research, writing, database management, communications, and event preparation.
During the internship, you will network with colleagues and senior-level executives while participating in educational and professional activities designed to enhance your internship experience.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
The Chamber Internship Program is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn at the world's largest business organization. In addition to directly supporting a team in the organization, interns have an opportunity to participate in a variety of programming that will help build professional skills and networks.
Daily responsibilities for interns typically include research, drafting memos or content, and event planning and support. Specific responsibilities vary by department and semester.
The Chamber also offers programming each semester intended to provide professional development and networking opportunities for interns. In previous semesters, this has included a resume workshop, professional panel with Chamber experts, leadership luncheons, and more.
This internship is scheduled to run from the week of June 2nd to the week of August 4th. This is a hybrid internship, with the in-person component being at our U.S. Chamber of Commerce HQ in downtown Washington, DC. Interns are expected to be in office at least two days a week. Fully remote applicants will not be considered.
This is a paid internship, where students may also receive academic credit if they meet the criteria set by their school. The hourly rate for this position is between $17.50 - $18.00 per hour. This hourly rate depends on the candidate's education level.

The Foundation Programs team plans, develops, and produces a wide variety of events and programs focusing on issues facing business now and in the future.

Foundation Communications & Graphic Design
The Foundation's Communications team leads the development and implementation of communications, marketing, and PR efforts for Foundation programs and events. They also collaborate with the Chamber creative team and agency partners to elevate our brand and design assets needed across all Foundation programs and events, including print, digital, video, and more.

The Incubator addresses the challenges communities will grapple with in the future that don't typically overlap with the challenges they face right now. The world needs someone that's looking around the corner to recognize, examine, and evaluate tomorrow's solutions-today.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until January 10th, 2025. Interviews will be conducted in January and February.
This internship requires US work authorization and is open to candidates with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and/or Optional Practical Training (OPT).
