Job Description
Internology is a national research and training organization dedicated to improving internship program quality across industries. We support employers, higher education institutions, and workforce partners by providing professional development workshops, research insights, and practical tools that strengthen internship experiences for students. Our flagship offering—the Internship Excellence Lab—is delivered in partnership with universities across the country and provides hands-on training and SHRM-accredited education to organizations seeking to build meaningful internship programs. Internology also conducts annual research, including the Internship Insights Survey, to better understand trends in early talent development and workplace learning.
The Project
The student will support the national launch of Internology’s 2026 Internship Insights Research Report by developing written content for our website, social media platforms, and email marketing. This project includes drafting LinkedIn articles, blog posts, short-form social captions, and promotional materials tied to Internology’s spring workshop series and research report. The student will also help create a Research Report FAQ page, edit copy for the research sales page, and develop a short “How to Use the Report” guide for employers and educators. This role is fully remote, independent, and supported by a professional point person who will provide direction and feedback.
Learning Experience
The student will gain hands-on experience writing for a growing national organization, strengthening their portfolio with published content viewed by employers and higher education partners across the country. They will learn how to translate research findings into accessible thought leadership pieces, sharpen their marketing communication skills, and gain real-world experience supporting a research product launch. This role provides opportunities to strengthen writing, editing, digital communication, brand messaging, and audience-focused storytelling—skills that are valuable across communications, marketing, public relations, and social sciences career pathways.
Outcomes
By the end of the project, the student will have produced a collection of polished written materials that directly support Internology’s national research launch and spring workshop season. These outcomes will include long-form LinkedIn articles, blog content, and a complete set of social media captions that align with Internology’s branding and messaging. The student will also create clear and audience-friendly copy for the Research Report FAQ page, refine the text used on the Research Report Sales Page, and draft promotional language for employer outreach and workshop marketing. Additionally, they will contribute written content for Internology’s quarterly newsletter and prepare a short guide to help employers effectively use the Internship Insights Research Report. All deliverables will be organized in a shared folder and ready for publication or distribution, contributing meaningful value to Internology’s thought leadership and visibility during the spring season.
