Career Fair Assistants will assist employers with unloading materials (boxes, displays, etc.). Assistants will greet employers and provide good customer service. A total of 5-6 assistants will assist with unloading, and a Career Center staff member will be there to oversee (and answer any questions). During the shift, some times will be busy and other times will not be busy.

Assistants will use carts to transport company materials (boxes, signs, display cases), so they should be able to lift items that weigh up to 20 lbs. and walk while pushing a cart.

Assistants must arrive on-time, work the entire shift, and provide good customer service to employers. We’ll train you once you’re there – it’s easy!

Assistants must be available to work at least one of these shifts. Preference will be given to students who can work multiple shifts.

Note that this is a temporary position just for 3 days in the Spring; it is not an ongoing role.
